Cogent Security Consulting LLC (Cogent)
Cogent Security Consulting LLC (Cogent) was formed in Virginia in 2010. Our vision is to become the most respected source of objective, independent, interdisciplinary national security expertise in the world. Cogent directly employs approximately 160 professionals including those working for our wholly owned subsidiary. Cogent directly supports the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) with particular emphasis on NA-70 and the NNSA laboratories and sites.
Innovative Technology Partnerships, LLC (ITP)
Innovative Technology Partnerships, LLC (ITP) was formed in New Mexico in November 1997 to help government organizations prepare for the uncertainties of the 21st century. Starting in January 2022, ITP became a wholly owned subsidiary of Cogent Security Consulting LLC.
ITP is a business of approximately 100 professionals actively engaged in services for the Department of Energy (DOE) and the NNSA with particular emphasis on NA-23, the Office of Secure Transportation, NA-122, NA-MB, NA-PAS, DOE HQ, and the Savannah River Site.
